IPI was established in 1954, underwent a significant transformation in 2012 with a $20 million investment to meet global standards. Achieving multiple quality certifications, the factory became a regional leader, producing 12 million capsules monthly. Sales surged from 20 to 70 billion Iraqi dinars by 2022, solidifying Iraq's position as a regional pharmaceutical powerhouse, with plans for continued expansion and exportation.
